We collect single use containers from the neighbourhoods near our workspace (Richmond, BC). On recycling day, we take our e-bike & collection trailer around the neighbourhood, quickly filling it with our favourite empties. (And yes we have favourites.)

At Sustainable Artisan, we are proud to create our products using sustainable materials. All of our items are made from single-use containers that we recycle in-house. We specifically focus on high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is non-toxic, antimicrobial, waterproof, and resistant to markers. Occasionally, we incorporate oxide-based pigments to enhance durability and add vibrant colours. We also use recycled cotton macrame cord. Rest assured, our products are free from paints, varnishes, nails, screws, lacquers, or any other compounds or chemicals. We prioritize safety, sustainability, and the well-being of our customers and the environment.

Since our products are made from only one type of material, (no screws, paints, etc) they are entirely recyclable. That being said, our products are intended to last as long as the plastic it’s self.

We guarantee your happiness with our products! If you don’t think the products you ordered were perfect, let us know and we will replace them or refund the entire purchase price. You have 30 days after receiving the products you've purchased to decide if you’d like to use our Happiness Guarantee and you may be required to return the items. We also warranty all our products against defect for their lifetime. If an item you’ve bought from us breaks while being used properly, we’ll fix it or replace it for free!
